A Summary of the Program
Lev Shlomo is a unique yeshiva program for 16-18 year old boys who have not found success in the standard school system. Lev Shlomo focuses on guiding these young men to find their unique places in Klal Yisroel and to use their strengths to be contributing members of their communities.

It’s all too easy for these children to see their academic failure as failure in life itself, and fall prey to the many vices ready and waiting to welcome them in.
At Lev Shlomo, small shiurim and G.E.D. classes allow each student to progress and succeed in his own way. An afternoon vocational program allows for training in areas of interest for each student. This work experience promotes self-esteem and confidence, and inspires a sense of responsibility in each student.
Valuable and long-lasting relationships are established through the night seder program, where the students are paired with local kollel yungerleit. Besides the growth in learning, the students develop friendships with these role models and their families. In addition, Shabbos meals with warm and welcoming families give our students a sense of belonging in the community.
Here at Lev Shlomo, we provide a warm and caring environment for high school boys who have not found success in the traditional educational setting. A low student-teacher ratio is just the start. The boys at Lev Shlomo are treated with respect as individuals, each with his own strengths and needs. Lev Shlomo works to inspire the hearts, minds and souls of each and every student, and to infuse them with a deep understanding of how Judaism pertains to them on a personal level.
